I love learning about America–this land that’s been the home of my ancestors for more than four hundred years–and I love studying it with my children. But we would miss out if we confine our study to the past four centuries alone.

Deeping our knowledge of this continent means we listen to the voices of the First Nations and native American people who lived here before our ancestors and live today alongside us.
